Adding Oil to a Gen 2 Turret

Background

Gear oil is required to maintain a properly operating turret on your 15L lathe.

Tools

• Oil can with tip for ball oil points

• Mobil Glygoyle 150 (recommended)

Add Oil to the Turret

During regular maintenance, remove the side panel from the turret (seen below), and check the oil level. We recommend keeping that oil level flush or a hair below the bottom lip of the access hole.
