The machine doesn’t start or a panel breaker trips.

Power on the main power supply, or examine the main power supply voltage.

  • Test all hot lines to confirm that they have the correct voltage on all legs.

  • Verify that the main power supply is switched to the ON position.

Replace the main fuse.

Examine the main fuse. If necessary, replace it.

Examine the pulley cover safety switch.

Medium

Examine the pulley cover safety switch wiring. If necessary, make the correct connections.

Rewire the plug/receptacle.

Low

Test the contacts. If necessary, make the correct connections.

Rewire the motor.

Inspect the motor wiring. If necessary, make the correct connections.

Replace the start capacitor.
